Road Rage Arrest Made In Trumbull: PD

It started after a vehicle got caught under a red light, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — Officers arrested a West Haven man after a road rage incident on White Plains Road March 1, police said.

A vehicle operator on White Plains Road was turning onto Shawnee Road when he got got caught under a red light. The operator tried to go go in reverse when another vehicle honked its horn.

A verbal argument ensued and the operator of the honking vehicle punched the victim in the face, police said.

Operator Andrew Norman, 31, claimed he was assaulted by the other driver, but multiple witnesses disputed the account, according to police.

Norman was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.
