A dog acted aggressive toward a family while roaming alone, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A local man was arrested after his dog was found roaming and acted aggressive toward a family, according to police.
Police responded to the area of Crown Street and Griswold Avenue in April to take a complaint about a roaming dog.
It's the second documented time the German Shepherd was allowed to roam. The owner received a ticket in 2016, police said. There have also been informal complaints for similar incidents.
