TRUMBULL, CT — Two people are now dead after a crash on Route 8 southbound in Trumbull late Thursday night. State Police responded to the rollover crash that went off road around 11 p.m. Thursday night. The car struck a large rock. Passenger Indira Kranwinkel, 22, of Bridgeport was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver who was also killed remains unidentified as he didn't have identification on him. Route 8 was closed for about 5 hours after the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
