Sleeping Homeowners Alerted To Fire By Trumbull Man: Report
After the Trumbull man noticed the fire, he knocked on the door of the house and helped get the couple outside, according to a news report.
TRUMBULL, CT — A sleeping couple was alerted to a fire at their home last week by a Trumbull man, News 12 Connecticut reports. The fire was reported Friday morning on Merrill Road by Jake Walsh, who noticed the blaze, knocked on the door of the house and helped get the couple outside.
According to News 12 Connecticut, the shed was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived at the home and the fire had spread to the house. The house is currently damaged and uninhabitable, and cleanup and repairs are expected to take about 10 months.
