Sleeping Man Arrested After Weapons Found In Car: Trumbull PD
The man also had a small amount of drugs on him, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Monroe man was arrested after he was found sleeping in a vehicle with drugs and weapons, according to police.
A resident reported a suspicious vehicle on Oakland Drive April 23. Officers found a man sleeping inside and said he was recently kicked out of his house. Police smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle.
Officers found a BB gun that was painted so that it's orange tip was removed along with a duct-taped bat, police said. A dollar bill with cocaine on it was also found.

Tyler Peloquin, 26, told police he had some previous trouble in New Haven and had the items for defense, according to police.
He was charged with two counts of illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
