St. Joseph High School in Trumbull Principal to Retire After 38 Years
Ken Mayo will retire after 38 years with the school.

One would be hard-pressed to find someone who has worked longer and in as many capacities at St. Joseph’s High School as Kenneth Mayo.
Mayo announced that he would be retiring at the end of the school year after 38 years with the school. He has served as a religion teacher, football coach, department head, dean of students and most recently principal for the past seven years.
“Ken embodies our school motto: Privilege and Responsibility,” said William Fitzgerald, president of the school. “Ken is always focused on the outcome, on the character formation of our graduates. It has been a pleasure to work with him, and an education. He has taught me what makes St Joes special. That’s the people. I thank him, on their behalf, for a lifetime of service. He is St. Joes.”
