St. Joseph's High Wins Football Light Case

The school can now have lights at its field.

St. Joseph’s High School will no longer be the only FCIAC school to not have lights for football games after a court decision.

A superior court judge overturned the Trumbull Planning and Zoning Commission and ordered it to approve the application for four 70-foot lights, according to the Connecticut Post.

St. Joseph’s submitted the application in August 2014, but neighbors objected. The commission deadlocked at 2-2 with an abstention.
