State BOE Member Violated Probation For 4 DUIs: PD

Stephen Wright is back behind bars after he violated probation related to four DUI convictions, police said.

State Board of Education member Stephen Wright was arrested again, this time after he violated probation related to four DUI convictions, according to police. Wright is a former chairman of the Trumbull Board of Education.

He served 120 days in prison and was released from prison, according to the Connecticut Post. He failed to report to his first probation hearing and gave a bogus address and phone number, police said.

A concerned citizen saw Wright at the Stamford Hilton Hotel bar and appeared intoxicated, according to police.

Wright was arrested by Norwalk, State, Shelton and Stratford police departments for DUI during a 12 week period earlier this year.
