State Official Sought After 4th DUI Arrest
The former Trumbull official failed to show up to a court hearing for a DUI case, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A former Trumbull elected official and current appointee on the State Board of Educationis now wanted after he failed to appear in court for his fourth DUI arrest within three months, according to police.
Stephen Wright was first arrested for DUI on Feb. 22 in Norwalk. He was then arrested on Feb. 27 in Shelton, by State Police Troop I on March 17 and Stratford Police April 10, according to court records.
He also failed to show up to a court hearing, according to the Connecticut Post. Wright previously served on the Trumbull Board of Education. from 2005 to 2009 and again from 2011 to 2013.

First Selectman Tim Herbst said he hope Wright turns himself in so he doesn't hurt himself or others and gets the help he needs.
