Stolen Car Found in Trumbull, Arrests Made

Heroin was found in the vehicle, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT—Officers arrested two people after they were found inside a stolen car, according to police.

A Trumbull officer on patrol around 2:30 a.m. noticed a vehicle with rear reflector material missing off the license plate. A record check indicated the vehicle was stolen.

Inside were two occupants along with syringes, metal spoons, a rubber band and empty heroin packages. White residue in the vehicle tested positive for heroin, police said.

Pema Tenzin, 25, of Ansonia and Lorie Ferreira, 26, of Bridgeport were charged with second-degree larceny, conspiracy, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
