Stolen U-Haul Found Parked At Trumbull Mall: Police
Police said the driver of the vehicle was arrested and found to have cocaine and other items in his possession.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police found a stolen U-Haul van parked at the Trumbull Mall, according to police.
In a news release posted to Facebook, police said an officer found the 2022 GMC U-Haul van, which had been reported stolen Wednesday in Bridgeport, parked at the mall around 12:30 p.m.
The driver was identified as Maurice Devon Pickett, 37, of Bridgeport. A scale, small plastic envelopes, cocaine and rock cocaine were also found in his possession, according to police.

Pickett was charged with first-degree larceny, possession of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics with intent to sell. He was held on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court later this month, police said.
