Stolen Vehicle Arrest Made In Trumbull: PD

A man was found in a stolen vehicle after a shoplifting incident, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after he stole cases of Red Bull from a Target store and then was pulled over in a stolen vehicle, according to police.

Police were dispatched to the Target store located at the Trumbull mall. The Red Bull thief put the energy drinks in a vehicle's trunk and drove away before police arrived.

Security officers managed to get the vehicle's plate and description, which was relayed to police. The vehicle was pulled over a short time later.

Sean Cleary, 37, was arrested and charged with first-degree larceny for the 2013 Subaru Crosstrek and sixth-degree larceny for the Red Bull theft, police said. He was also served with five warrants for failure to appear.
