Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club Golf - Lou Riccio Senior Memorial Winners

The Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club on July 13, fielded two-man teams on a hot sunny day in the 37th Annual Lou Riccio Memorial Tournament at Tashua Knolls Golf Course, Trumbull. This tournament was sponsored by and played in honor of Lou Riccio Sr, president and founder of the Tashua Knolls Seniors Men's (golf) Club, and his wife Lucy Beatrice (Cubelli) Riccio.

The results of the day were as follows:

The First place Low Gross winners were Bob Tavella and John Ghent with a score of 77, Glen Fuchs and Jim Costello finished in second with a 77, Mark Ryan and Robert Winston placed third with a 79; Sam Cicalo and Carl Bluesmen were fourth with a 79, John Coniglio and Steve Chrystone finished fifth with a 79 and Jim Brodie and Art Pranger were sixth with an 80.

The first place Low Net winners had George Gould and Jim Hughes scoring 58. Placing second were Charles Gould and Gerry Onofrio with 61. In third place were Jim Menge and Clint Vogel with a score of 62. In fourth place were Phil Caliendo and Bob Kilton with a 62, in fifth place were Joe Flewellyn and Pete Fatsy with a 62, and Rick Frank and Mike McGraw finished sixth with a 62.
