The Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club 2022-2023 Tuesday Bowling is in a new season, with ten four-man teams competing at the Nutmeg Lanes in Fairfield. On October 11, Team 5 Terry McGuirk, Dick Stein, Ray Boratko, Carl Bluestein)) remains in first place with 81 points and a first-place lead of five(5) points. Second place has Team 1 (Bob Farrell, Ivo Pozezanac, Tom Constantinio, Andy Deyulio) and Team 4 (Bob Wolfe, Joe Flewellyn, Bob Flemming, Jim Menge) with 86 points. Manny Cabral had a great day with the high scratch game of 290, the three-game series of 707, the handicap single game of 323, and the series handicap of 806(these are all new season highs). Team 3 (Bob Schuerlein, Tom Frazer, Clint Vogel, Manny Cabral) bowled the Team scratch game of 788, the Team handicap game of 1008, and the series with handicap of 2751. The Friday Bowling League on October 14 has Team 1 (Chet Grygorcewicz, Pepe Cruz, John Campbell, Dennis Surmaczewicz) in first place by three (3) points over Team 5 ( Ron Rubano, Terry McGuirk, Bob Burke, Noel Gabrielle). Team 9 (Jim Rainey, Joe Flewellyn, Robert Winston, Manny Cabral) had a great day and established new Season highs for Team scratch at 829, Team scratch series at 2146, team handicap game of 1031 and Team handicap series of 2752. The high single-game scratch was 257 by Ray Boratko and Manny Cabral. Noel Gabrielle bowled the three-game scratch series of 660.
