The Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club 2022-2023 Tuesday Bowling at the Nutmeg Lanes in Fairfield. On January 31, in second-half play Team 3 (Paul Schuerlein, Tom Frazer, Clint Vogel, Manny Cabral) has a fifteen (15) point lead over Team 5 (Terry McGuirk, Dick Stein, Ray Boratko, Carl Bluestein). Jim Menge had a great day and bowled the single game scratch of 255, the single game scratch with handicap of 292 and the series with handicap of 748. Terry McGuirk bowled the scratch series of 639. Terry is the High Individual Match Point leader with 76 points. The Individual high average is led by Bob Winston at 195.98, in second is Noel Gabrielle at 195.9, and in third place is Manny Cabral at 194.21.
The Friday Bowling League on February 3 saw Team 3 (Paul Schuerlein, Tom Frazer, Clint Vogel, Manny Cabral) open a five (5) point lead over Team 9 (Jim Rainey, Joe Flewellyn, Robert Winston, Manny Cabral). Ray Boratko had an awesome day and bowled the high single-game scratch of 278 (a new Season high), the scratch series of 713, the single game with handicap of 320, and the series with handicap of 839. Team 2 (Ray Andruskiwec, Lou Viglione, Drew Kennedy, Dan Maniscalco) bowled a new Season high for Team Handicap series. The Individual high average is held by John Verdeschi at 205.85, in second place is Bob Winston at 199.61, and in third place is Rich Schwam at 196.46.
