TRUMBULL, CT — First Selectman Vicki Tesoro has outlined her vision for her second term, which includes changing the makeup of the Town Council and Board of Education.

Tesoro, a Democrat, seeks to go back to seven voting districts instead of the current four on the Town Council, according to the Trumbull Times. The move would give more minority party representation, which is currently controlled by Democrats.

She also wants the Board of Education to return to a six member board with staggered four-year terms and continue a moratorium on multi-family housing building.
