Tesoro: Reject Moorefield Zoning Amendment

Developers of the former Moorefield Farm want to add a text amendment for the property.

TRUMBULL, CT — First Selectman Vicki Tesoro released a statement urging the Planning nad Zoning Commission to preserve established residential neighborhoods in town.

The statement came after a proposal was made for a development on the property.

"It is my opinion that the applicant for this proposed text amendment to our existing zoning regulations should work within the existing regulations," Tesoro said. "This text amendment is being applied to an exclusively residential area and could have negative consequences for established neighborhoods like Nichols and other areas of town."
