Trumbull Home Burglarized While Family Slept: PD
Police are investigating a rash of crime in town, including three stolen vehicles.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police are investigating after three vehicles were reported stolen in town.
The vehicles were taken from Inca Drive, Killian Avenue and Main Street between March 1 and 5, said Lt. Keith Golding, police spokesman.
One vehicle was recovered in Southington after being chased by Capitol Police in Hartford. Another vehicle that was left running outside a Main Street business was recovered in Bridgeport on Reservoir Avenue after the owner followed it.

The third vehicle was recovered in Trumbull after it had run out of fuel.
All the vehicles were left unlocked with keys inside.

Police are also investigating multiple thefts from vehicles in various neighborhoods throughout town. They were all left unlocked.
One thief used a garage opener in an unlocked car to enter a home while the occupants slept.
