Trash Fire Extinguished In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — Long Hill firefighters extinguished a trash fire at the Transfer Station Wednesday morning.

Units responded around 9:30 a.m. to a report of smoke coming from a building, according to the Long Hill Volunteer Fire Company Facebook page.

A large trash pile on fire was found burning away from any exposures. Firefighters put out the fire and cleared the scene in about an hour.
