Trumbull Adds New Companies, Employees

TRUMBULL, CT — Several companies have announced or completed expansions of space and staff.

• Cooper Surgical has completed its 250,000 square foot expansion.
• Henkel Corporation will invest about $1 million into its existing facility on Trefoil Drive and bring 30 to 40 new high wage jobs to Trumbull.
• CompHealth has brought 59 jobs from Norwalk to the Trumbull Corporate Park location.
• Kone Elevator is also moving into the Trumbull Corporate Park.
• Corner Deli has reopened on Main Street in a renovated space.
• Dr. Jason Oberhand is expanding his Family Dentistry practice to Trumbull at the Long Hill Green.

In other economic development news the CT Golf Association announced that Tashua Knolls will host the 115th CT Amateur Championship this year. The event is expected to bring hundreds of visitors to town between June 19 and 23.
