Trumbull BOE To Hold First Discussion Of District-Wide Master Plan
Members of the public are invited to join the Trumbull Board of Education for its first discussion of the board's district-wide master plan.
TRUMBULL, CT — Members of the public are invited to join the Trumbull Board of Education for its first discussion of the board's district-wide master plan in November.
According to the town website, the board's first workshop will be "a big picture event that will include a brief presentation outlining the scope of work, goals for the project, and work completed to date."
The discussion will be held Nov. 3 at Booth Hill School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

After the presentation, board members will listen to public comment about aspects of the plan that are important to them. Tecton Architects will facilitate an interactive dialogue where residents can express their thoughts and concerns, ask questions and discuss topics.

About the Project
The district-wide master plan will analyze the existing school facilities, conduct a demographic study for enrollment projections, and identify a planning strategy for future educational delivery and building use that will serve the town’s student population for the next 10 to 15 years. This process will engage the entire community including a diverse group of school administrators, students and faculty, committee members, businesses, town staff and residents.
