Trumbull BOE Reduces School Budget Request
The revised budget still comes with a proposed increase.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Board of Education reduced Superintendent Gary Cialfi's budget request. The new budget would require a 4.23 percent increase over the current year.
$611,000 was dropped from the special education budget because the Trumbull BOE is owed that amount from the state, according to the Trumbull Times.
Salaries and benefits drove more than 82 percent of the increase request. Two teachers will be transferred from the middle school and additional three will be hired for elementary schools.
