Trumbull Building Condemned After Fire

The building housed Blessed Assurance Prayer Community and a nursery school.

TRUMBULL, CT- The building that housed Blessed Assurance Prayer Community and Blessed Lamb Nursery School was condemned by the Trumbull fire marshal after it suffered extensive damage during a weekend fire.

Fire officials are still working to determine the cause of the blaze, according to News 12.

The fire was reported around 4:30 p.m. Sunday and crews got the fire under control around 6:18 p.m., according to Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 Inc.

The fire is under investigation by the Trumbull Fire Marshals office. Early indicators point to the fire starting outside the rear of the structure.

No one was in the building when the fire started and there were no injuries.
