TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after he burglarized a Trumbull plumbing and heating business in late 2017, according to police.
The business office was broken into along with several vehicles and storage containers Dec. 29, 2017, police said. Investigators found a screwdriver at the scene and ran it for DNA. They got a match to Manuel Gomez, 44, of Bridgeport, police said.
Gomez had several burglary arrests in the past. He also left behind a hammer at the scene of a Fairfield burglary that also had DNA, police said.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Gomez and arrested him Feb. 20. He is charged with second-degree larceny and third-degree burglary.
