Trumbull Candidate Profile: Jeffrey Donofrio For Board Of Ed.

TRUMBULL, CT — The 2019 municipal election is heating up in Trumbull and there are plenty of races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

Trumbull Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles as election day draws near.

Jeffrey Donofrio is running for the Board of Education as a Republican. He is an attorney with 29 years of experience. He has served on the Board of Education since 2013 and was on the Town Council from 2011 to 2013.

The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and
this is what I intend to do about it.

The single most pressing issue we currently face as a BOE is navigating
declining revenue sources while continuing to improve an already strong
school district. I will work with my fellow BOE members to continue to find
operational efficiencies without sacrificing program or student services.

Performance on the BOE the past 6 years; e.g., Chair of Facilities

positions?

I have no personal agenda. I am passionate about community service because
I am passionate about the community in which I live and raise my family.
