TRUMBULL, CT — The 2019 municipal election is heating up in Trumbull and there are plenty of races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

Keith Klain is running for Town Council second district as a Democrat. He works as an IT management consultant and is a current member of the council.

Taxes and accountability. If re-elected, I will continue to bring the
principles of integrity, accountability and transparency to my position. I
will ensure that my positions and votes reflect the residents of my
district.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?
Although a Democrat, I am very independent minded and do my own research
when forming my positions to voting on anything affecting our District and
Trumbull.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder
failed the community (or district or constituency)?
My family has a deep commitment to volunteering and giving back to the
community, so you can depend on me to put in the work to understand issues
and reach out to all parties when trying to resolve issues for our District.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle
this job?
Incumbent D2 Town Council member, Vice Chair, Rules & Research
Committee, Police Building Committee, Alternate for the Finance Committee,
fighting to keep Nichols housing in character with the historic
district.
