Taxes. I'll work with the council and the first selectman to ID how we
manage existing requirements for services how to ease the taxpayer
burden.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?

I couldn't say what all the other candidates stand for (I'm assuming
they're also in favor of stable taxes, good schools and excellent town
services, or I'm not sure why they'd be running), but one of the best
attributes I will bring to the position is significant experience and
knowledge in town matters. I've diligently attended TC meetings the last few
years, actually more than some existing council members.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

Communication. One of the challenges of living in Trumbull is finding
information about what's going on around town. Even if one knows how to find
info on the town website, it can be tough to navigate without specific dates.
It's almost 2020. Let's get information to Trumbull residents in multiple
ways beyond just the existing formats.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle
this job?

I work in digital media. It requires me to know how to be flexible and
adapt to new challenges while maintaining the existing requirements. Nobody
likes change. But sometimes we have to figure out how to accept that change.
So let's handle that change in ways where we don't have to feel like we're
sacrificing much, if anything.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

Listen before you speak.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your
positions?

My kids are in 1st grade and 4th grade. We moved to Trumbull for the
schools and will be here for the long haul. I'm committed to the town and
ensuring it's ready for the future.
