The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The most important issue facing the Board of Education will be the search for a new superintendent . I have been involved in many administrative searches during my career and I have been personally responsible for bringing dynamic applicants into our noble profession.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The most critical difference between myself and the other candidates seeking this post is that I am still currently a teacher and administrator in a school system. I believe this sets me apart as my experience is much more current and relevant than my opponents who are either retired from a career in education or were never in that field. I have experience with administrative searches and with later start times which are currently two pressing issues in Trumbull. I have been involved in education for almost 30 years and I look forward to being an experienced asset to the board.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle
this job?

I have had a long and successful career in The Town of Wilton as an educator and administrator. I am a Team Leader and the Teacher in Charge in my school. I work with special education students as a district appointed tutor for over a decade. I am co-author of Bring a Vet to School Day, and
partnering with the History Channel as the first school in the nation to run this program on Veteran's Day. This program now runs in over 4000 schools across the nation including Trumbull.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your

positions?

I have lived in Trumbull for 20 years. I have raised both of my children here and they both attended Trumbull Public Schools kindergarten through 12th grade. I have volunteered in numerous capacities in town such as the Father's Club, Career Days at the middle school and finally as a volunteer EMT for the Trumbull High School Marching Band. I am not a politician, but
education has always been my lane. Both of my children are now attending college and I look forward to serving a community that has served my family and I so well and to ensure that our students continue to receive the world class education that my children received. I hope to look at the education budget in a fiscally responsible way as a parent, teacher, administrator and finally as a Trumbull tax payer.
