Trumbull Car Burglars Arrested: PD

Two men are suspected of breaking into vehicles in town.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police have arrested two men who are suspected of breaking into several vehicles during the overnight hours.

Several residents in the Nichols section of town discovered their vehicles had been burglarized and items taken in August, said Lt. Brian Weir, police spokesman.

Shelton Police discovered several of the stolen items while investigating similar crimes in their own town and developed Luis Correa, 47, of Bridgeport as a suspect, Weir said. Christopher Right, 46, of Shelton was also developed as a suspect.

Right was charged by Trumbull Police on Oct. 23 with fourth-degree larceny, sixth-degree larceny and two counts of third-degree burglary.

Correa turned himself in Dec. 5 and was charged with fourth-degree larceny and third-degree burglary.
