Trumbull Cashier Stole Nearly $4,500: PD

She stole the money while working at the store for about a month, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport woman was arrested after she stole nearly $4,500 from Target while working as a cashier, according to police.

The money was stolen from her register while she was working between November and December 2018, police said. Surveillance video and till records confirmed the theft.

Amanda Powell, 20, was charged with third-degree larceny May 1. Bail was set at $25,000.
