Trumbull Catholic Schools Looking Good Amid Recent Downsizing Plan, Diocese Officials Say
Diocese officials said effects of the recent downsizing plan on Trumbull's two Catholic schools are expected to be very minimal.

TRUMBULL, CT - Amid recent downsizing plans, it seems Catholic schools in Trumbull are bucking the trend, the Trumbull Times reported.
The Bridgeport Diocese recently announced downsizing plans that included the closings of Catholic schools in Monroe and Shelton, according to the Trumbull Times. Effects of the downsizings on Trumbull’s two Catholic schools are expected to be very minimal.
Diocese officials said the schools were not heavily affected by the plan due to both schools, St. Catherine and St. Theresa, having better enrollment and finances than others, the Trumbull Times reported. The schools could potentially even seen an uptick due to the nearby closings.
