Trumbull DUI Arrest Made
The arrest happened after he was spotted driving erratically near a middle school, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested on DUI charges after he was spotted swerving between lanes, according to police.
A concerned person called police to report the driver in the area of Hillcrest Middle School July 8. An open alcoholic container was found in the vehicle and driver Alan Rodgerson, 58, smelled of alcohol, police said.
He failed the eye gaze portion of the field sobriety test and then said medical issues would prevent him from taking additional tests, police said. He refused a breath test.

He was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating under the influence around 5:30 p.m.
