Trumbull Earns Recognition for Financial Reporting
The town earned a certificate that signifies its dedication to governmental accounting and reporting.

TRUMBULL, CT- The Town of Trumbull was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its annual financial report.
The certificate is a high form of recognition for dedication to government accounting and financial reporting.
First Selectman Tim Herbst applauded the efforts of the Finance Department.

“The commitment to excellence and the professional standards of the department staff has led Trumbull to this prestigious recognition," he said. "This accolade comes on the heels of high compliments from a recent rating agency review by Standard and Poor’s last month."
The GFOA is a nonprofit professional association serving approximately 17,500 government finance professionals with offices in Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C.
