Trumbull Election Results 2021: Tesoro Wins Re-Election
Thousands of Trumbull residents cast votes Tuesday in the 2021 municipal election.

TRUMBULL, CT — Democratic incumbent First Selectman Vicki Tesoro was re-elected to a new term Tuesday by defeating Republican challenger Mark Block, according to unofficial results announced by TCTV Trumbull.
Tesoro unofficially received 5,147 votes, compared to Block's 3,995 votes.
The Connecticut Post reported Block conceded to Tesoro at about 9:30 p.m.

Unofficial results from the Secretary of State's office were delayed on Wednesday due to a glitch in the system:

For the position of Town Clerk, Democrat Mary Markham, the incumbent, defeated Republican Katie Miller-Creagh, according to unofficial results.

As for Treasurer, incumbent Democrat Anthony Musto also won, defeating Republican Paul S. Lavoie, according to unofficial results.
On the Board of Finance, the winning candidates were (in bold):
Democrats - Marty Issac; Lainie McHugh; and Joseph Gaudiano
Republicans - Steve Dincher; Scott Zimov; and Justin Scheuble
The Board of Education had two different seats up for election, four-year and two-year terms. For the four-year terms, the candidates were:
Democrats - Scot Kerr; Kathy Champion; Tim Gallo; and Lisa Nuland
Republicans - Marie Petitti; Alison Souiccimarro; Jackie Norcel; and Chris Bandecchi
As for the two-year terms, the candidates were:
Democrats - Lucinda Timpanelli; Julia McNamee; David Scrofani; and Christine El Eris
Republicans - Norcel; Petitti; Souiccimarro; and Bandecchi
For the Board of Assessment Appeals, Republican Jeff Craw ran unopposed.
The Trumbull Town Council recently returned to seven districts, up from four. The candidates were:

Democrats - Bill Mecca; Nikki Satin
Republicans - Donna Seidell; JP Favretto

Republicans - Lissette Colon; Olga Leiva
District 5

District 6
