Trumbull EMS To Present Empowering Youth Program
The program will teach high school and college-aged teens about self-care, mental health support and more.
TRUMBULL, CT — On Aug. 9, Trumbull Emergency Medical Services and Trumbull’s Prevention Partnership will present a program for high school and college-aged teens about self-care, mental health support and more.
According to the TEMS Facebook page, the program is titled "Empowering (You)th: Providing Teens with the Tools They Need to Support a Friend or Themselves" and will take place at Trumbull EMS, located on Middlebrooks Avenue, at 6:30 p.m.
Those who participate in the program will learn, among other things:

- Signs of alcohol poisoning and drug overdose and steps to take.
- Recognizing a mental health crisis.
