Trumbull EMS Worker Stole Expensive Equipment: PD

He is charged with stealing a piece of equipment and using it while working at another EMS service, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull EMS employee who was only on the job for a short time was charged with stealing a $2,400 piece of equipment, police said.

Trumbull EMS officials reported the theft in February. George Previs, 32, of Milford had started shortly before the camera went missing as a paramedic.

Previs also worked as a paramedic in the Danbury area and he used the camera during a call there, police said. The particular service doesn't use that kind of equipment.

The camera was recovered at Previs' home, according to police. He claimed he accidentally brought it home.
