Trumbull Fall Festival Budget Reduced

$45,000 was originally requested to come out of the general fund. The town didn't receive bid responses for rides.

The Trumbull Town Council reduced the request for the Fall Festival from $45,000 to $15,000 at a special meeting.

The festival is scheduled for Sept. 12.

The town solicited bids for carnival rides, but didn’t receive any returns, according to the Trumbull Times. It had received bids for a fireworks show. Reducing the amount of money taken out of the general fund will help the town maintain its AA+ bond rating.
