The Republican Town Committee hosted their annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner on Sunday, March 18th. A record number of people attended the annual fundraiser, held at the Trumbull Marriott.
“I was great to see so many Trumbull Republican at the event to show support for First Selectman Tim Herbst and the Trumbull Republican Party”, stated Jack Testani, Chairman of the TRTC. “Also, the support from other Republicans was overwhelming” In attendance, Mayor Mark Boughton of Danbury, Mayor Mark Lauretti of Shelton, First Selectman Tom Hermann of Easton, State Reps TR Rowe, Tony Hwang, and Larry Miller and the keynote speaker, CT House of Representative Minority Leader, Larry Cafero of Norwalk. In addition US Senate Candidates Linda McMahon and Christoper Shays, as well as District 4 US Congressman candidates Steve Obsitnik, Chris Meeks and Richard Wieland, were in attendance as well.

The dinner featured a silent auction as well as a goods/services auction. Proceeds from the event will help to fund the campaign costs of local Republican candidates.
