Trumbull Has 458 Coronavirus Cases, 78 Deaths
More than 40 percent of cases are connected to nursing home or assisted living facilities.
TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull has 458 lab-confirmed coronavirus cases and 78 deaths as of Monday morning, according to the state Department of Public Health.
Some of those numbers come from nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Maefair Health Care Center has had 68 cases, 15 lab-confirmed deaths and eight probable deaths while St. Joseph's Center has had 92 cases, 14 lab-confirmed deaths and nine probable deaths. The data is current as of May 6, which is the last time the state released nursing home data.
Bridges by Epoch at Trumbull has 21 confirmed coronavirus cases, Middlebrook Farms has 9 confirmed cases and one suspected case and Spring Meadows has two confirmed and one probable case as of May 6.

Combined nursing homes and assisted living facilities have had 192 confirmed cases. There have been 46 confirmed or probable coronavirus deaths at nursing homes. The state doesn't release numbers regarding deaths at assisted living facilities.
