Trumbull Health Department Celebrates National Public Health Week
"Public Health is Where You Are"

National Public Health Week is celebrated the week of April 4 - 10, 2022. The American Public Health Association (APHA) sets aside this week each year to bring together communities to recognize the contributions of public health and to raise awareness of the important role that public health and prevention play in keeping communities healthy. This year’s theme is “Public Health is Where You Are.”
“Celebrate National Public Health Week with the Trumbull Health Department and all Region 1 Health Departments,” said Luci Bango, Trumbull Health Department Director of Health. “The Region 1 Local Health Departments have produced a series of short videos highlighting some of the important work of public health. These videos will be posted on our Facebook page (Trumbull Health Department), beginning April 4.”
View the videos and share them with your friends. This is a great way to learn about your local health department and how they make a difference in your community. Public health works to make everyone’s lives healthier, safer and better every day.
