Trumbull Health Department Sponsors American Red Cross Blood Drive at Senior Center

Help meet the emergency need for blood

The Trumbull Health Department, Trumbull Senior Center, and American Red Cross are partnering to host a community blood drive on Friday, September 18, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The blood drive will take place at the Trumbull Senior Center, 23 Priscilla Place, in the Smile-A-While Auditorium. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter the sponsor code trumbullhealth.

Help Meet the Emergency Need for Blood

There is currently an emergency need for blood donations. Every donation can help provide lifesaving blood to patients facing medical emergencies, undergoing surgery, receiving treatment for serious illnesses, or recovering from injuries. All blood types are needed to help maintain a reliable and readily available blood supply for patients in communities across the country.
