TRUMBULL, CT—The Golden Eagle Marching Band bested several schools from Connecticut, Virginia, upstate New York and New Jersey to win the USBand competition at MetLife Stadium over the weekend.
Trumbull also won best color guard, percussion and best overall effect in the competition, according to the Trumbull High Facebook page.
Trumbull's final score was 97.1 and it competed in the largest group. A total of 60 bands competed.
The band has submitted an application to play in the Inaugural Parade.
