Parts of the school were flooded Tuesday. Crews are cleaning up the mess.

TRUMBULL, CT — Flooding at Trumbull High School forced its closure Wednesday as crews work to clean up the mess.

Superintendent Gary Cialfi said that water flowed through the auditorium and was eight inches deep near the stage, according to the Trumbull Times.

Staff worked to keep water from destroying the gym floor. Any wet carpet is being pulled up and industrial dehumidifiers are running to dry out the building. To sign up for Trumbull breaking news alerts and more, click here.
