Trumbull High School Jumps Into Top 10 in Latest Girls Basketball Poll

TRUMBULL, CT — Capital Prep retained its stronghold on girls high school basketball in Connecticut, topping the weekly sportswriters' poll once again.

The Trailblazers, who have not lost an in-state regular season game since Dec. 15, 2011, opened this season with four straight victories.

Previously unranked Trumbull moved up to the number six spot, opening with six consecutive wins. St. Joseph did not make the top 10, but received a considerable amount of votes.
