Trumbull High Sticking With Traditional Grading Method

A petition against a change to "semesterised" grades garnered more than 1,400 signatures.

TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull school officials will stick with the old grading method for high school students after several students and parents complained that "semesterised" courses could negatively affect GPA.

Students in year-long classes will still receive a single cumulative letter grade, Principal Marc Guarino told the Trumbull Times.

An online petition against the change to a semester grading system garnered more than 1,400 signatures.
