Trumbull High Students Increase College Applications

Students in general applied to more competitive colleges.

TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull High School Class of 2018 applied to more colleges and better colleges overall compared to previous classes, according to a new report.

About 80 percent of the class enrolled in a four-year college and around eight percent enrolled at two-year schools, according to the Trumbull Times. The 555 graduates sent out nearly 3,330 applications.

There were 40 students who enrolled at elite colleges with 56 deferring admission.
