TRUMBULL, CT — On Tuesday, Trumbull will hold its annual reading of the Declaration of Independence at 10 a.m. on the front steps of Town Hall in honor of the Fourth of July.

According to the town website, this historic portrayal will feature members of the We The People Team and citizen volunteers reading the historic document.

The Trumbull High School Chamber Choir will join the celebration for patriotic harmonizing while Trumbull Scouts will present flags.

Crafts courtesy of the Trumbull Historical Society and Trumbull Girl Scouts and a story hour at the gazebo will take place after the reading.

Residents attending are encouraged to bring a chair.
