Trumbull House Delegation Achieves Perfect Voting Record
The three representatives cast votes on every debated bill.

State Reps. David Rutigliano (R-123), Laura Devlin (R-134) and Ben McGorty (R-122) all achieved a perfect records for votes cast on the floor of the state House of Representatives during the 2015 legislative session.
The three voted on 379 different bills.

“I am honored and humbled to represent the great citizens of Trumbull in the CT state house, We deal with many important issues that effect us all, and our future, I want to be sure that Trumbull is counted,” he said.
It was Devlin’s first year as a representative.

“The residents of Trumbull have given me an awesome responsibility and it is something I take very seriously —to be the voice of the people in the towns I represent,” said Devlin. “Without thoughtful and aggressive representation, a community’s voice can be lost quickly inside the Capitol.”
McGorty also said he wanted to make sure the voices of Trumbull residents were heard at the capitol.
“I make it my top priority to be present as much as possible for debate and votes on the House floor to ensure the people of my district have their voices heard at the state capitol,” said McGorty. “The legislature addressed numerous issues with great impact on the lives of state residents during the last session, and each vote was important.”
