Trumbull Janitor Stole Gift Cards Meant for Sick Teacher: PD

The gift cards were taken out of the teacher's mailbox, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — A janitor at Daniels Farm School was arrested after he was caught on camera using stolen gift cards to purchase items, according to police.

The school's principal made a complaint to police after about $150 worth of gift cards was taken from the teacher's school mailbox, according to the Connecticut Post.

Andrew Robinson, 30, of Bethany was charged with sixth-degree larceny after he was seen on camera using the cards, according to police. He told police he thought the cards were for him.
