There is no additional charge to use the large item pickup program, according to the town.

Trumbull's 2026 large item pickup program will run from April 6 (snow permitting) through the end of September.
Pick ups will be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and are by appointment only on a first-come-first-served basis, according to the town.

Acceptable items include furniture, appliances, branches, grills, electronics and doors.
Unacceptable materials that will not be picked up include hazardous materials such as oil-based paint, demolition materials, vehicles or tires, propane tanks and trash cans.
